A man was killed and a woman injured when they were shot late Thursday at a DeKalb County apartment complex, according to police.

The shooting happened at the Landmark Apartments on Bent Tree Loop near Stone Mountain, DeKalb police told Channel 2 Action News.

“It appears possibly two shooters came from outside and shot upon the subjects,” Lt. Mark Lavigne said.

Investigators had not determined if the shooters walked or drove through the complex. No description of the suspects was available.

One man, whose name was not released, died at the scene. A woman was shot in the leg and underwent surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was in stable condition early Friday.
