A man was injured Tuesday in a hit-and-run in front of Allatoona High School in Cobb County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Ritchie Willis, 34, was walking with traffic when a blue Ford Thunderbird with tinted windows and a handicap tag struck him without stopping, the GSP said.

The 1990s model Thunderbird hit Willis with its passenger’s side front fender and mirror.

Willis was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. His condition was not known.

GSP is investigating the incident because it happened on a public road.
