Police ID man found dead in vehicle after shooting at Gwinnett gas station

Gwinnett County police found a man dead inside a vehicle after a shooting was reported at a Duluth area gas station Wednesday night.

The victim was discovered near the Grande Club Apartments on Club Drive, not far from a Shell station on Pleasant Hill Road. Investigators believe he was shot at the gas station about 10 p.m., got into the vehicle and crashed, according to police.

He was identified by police as 20-year-old Jamun El Winslow of Lawrenceville.

Officers collected evidence at both crime scenes into early Thursday morning. No information on a suspect or possible motive was released.
