Man accused of attempted rape at Dairy Queen
A Hall County man was arrested after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a woman in a Dairy Queen restroom, according to a media report.
Demetrius Miguel Render, 44, of Gainesville, is charged with criminal attempt to commit rape, false imprisonment and simple battery, the Gainesville Times reported. He is in the Hall County jail.
Police said the suspect lured the victim into a restroom of the restaurant on Green Street, according to the report. He also detained the victim against her will, the paper reported.
