Police are investigating a shooting at a DeKalb County motel that left two men dead.

Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, DeKalb police got a call about the shooting inside a second-floor room at the Affordable Hotel in the 1900 block of Glenfair Road, Maj. Stephen Fore said.

“Officers arrived on the scene and found the room door open,” he said.

They entered the room and found two men in their late teens to early 20s dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

“The motive at this time is unclear and the investigation is ongoing,” Fore said.

Detectives processing the crime scene are examining evidence and canvassing the area to interview potential witnesses.

Four people have been detained for questioning, but no one had been charged by Thursday afternoon, Fore said.
