A 17-year-old wanted in a carjacking at a Peachtree City bank is in custody in Rockdale County.

Szevin Kahvi Glawson, who is from Conyers, was booked into the Rockdale County Jail on unrelated charges, Peachtree City police said Tuesday.

He was one of three people identified as suspects in a May 19 carjacking outside a SunTrust Bank on Ga. 74. The teenage victim had just pulled his white BMW up to an ATM when police said a man opened his passenger door, put a gun to his head and ordered him out of the vehicle.

Three men jumped into the BMW and drove away, setting off a chase that went into Coweta County before officers lost sight of the vehicle, Peachtree City police spokesman Lt. Matt Myers said. The BMW was found abandoned in Palmetto with its motor running.

Glawson was the last of the three to be arrested. Jaheim Dazon Lassiter, 17, of Jonesboro, was taken into custody May 22 in South Fulton. One month later, Alton Curtis Trimble, 20, of Palmetto, was tracked to Panama City, Fla., and arrested by U.S. marshals.

Lassiter and Trimble are both being held at the Fayette County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, hijacking a motor vehicle and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. Trimble faces an additional charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police.

Glawson is incarcerated in Rockdale. Myers said Glawson will be taken to Fayette to face aggravated assault, hijacking and weapons possession charges after answering his other pending charges.

According to police, the crew arrived at the bank May 19 in a gray Ford F-150 pickup that was reported stolen from College Park the day before. It’s unclear if they have been charged in that theft.
