A Florida man tried buy human skin on Facebook and offered $400 for it, deputies said.

A Stuart woman told Martin County Sheriff's Office deputies she saw the ad posted on "Jensen Beach Garage Sale" and deputies went to a home in Stuart 'in reference to someone trying to buy human skin,'" TCPalm.com reported.

Deputies might have the name of the person who posted the ad before it was redacted, according to TCPalm.

If so, the man could face a felony charge because a Florida statute bans buying and selling human organs and tissue, TCPalm reported.
