The Georgia State Patrol is investigating after a man was found dead Saturday in what they called a hit-and run incident in Villa Rica.
About 6:50 a.m., a trooper responded to the collision scene at Thornton Road and Factory Shoals Road, GSP spokesman Mark Perry said. A man was found fatally injured on the west shoulder of the road.
The identity of the victim was not released.
Based on evidence at the scene, the suspect vehicle is an Infiniti FX35, unknown color, and model year from 2009 to 2011.
