A Fulton County gang member has been convicted of accidentally killing his friend during a drive-by shooting, District Attorney Paul Howard announced Friday.

Dolonte Tedder, 19, was convicted Wednesday of murder and participation in a a criminal street gang for the shooting death of 18-year-old Quelon Glass during a “botched revenge shooting,” Howard said in an email.

The killing happen 13 months ago during a feud between Tedder’s “Yung Fame” gang and the “Sex Money Murder” club, Howard said.

Glass was riding with the gunmen in a vehicle driven by his girlfriend, Teandria Tabb, along Godby Road in College Park on Sept. 8, 2014. Tedder and Jacquavious Eggleston, also charged in Glass’ death, were riding in the backseat.

They accidentally shot Glass in the back of the head while ambushing a man on the street authorities said. They also accidentally shot another victim, Cedrick Gifford, outside the car in the arm, Howard said.

Superior Court Judge John Goger sentenced Tedder to life in prison plus five years. Eggleston pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years for manslaughter and other crimes. Tabb, the driver, still has not gone to trial, Howard said.
