A man is in custody in connection with a hit-and-run incident that killed a 27-year-old father, a Rockdale County sheriff’s spokesman said.

Hung Mamh Le, 60, turned himself in Friday afternoon after he contacted an attorney, Michael Meyers, a spokesman for the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Le’s truck, a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, has been recovered, Meyers said. It has damage consistent with evidence recovered from the scene.

The incident early Wednesday on Ga. 138 killed Nikolas Truskosky, deputies said. He was stopping to get coffee before work when he was hit.

Le said he wanted to turn himself in due to the investigation and the lookout that identified the type of vehicle that was involved in the collision.
