Double shooting suspect arrested
A woman wanted in Forest Park on murder and aggravated-assault charges was captured Friday, police said on Facebook.
Tia Marie Dos Santos, 23, was arrested in Knoxville, Tenn., according to multiple media reports.
According to wbir.com of Knoxville, the Knox County sheriff's Air Watch spotted the suspect's vehicle at a gas station. When she saw authorities, Santos ran, but was later taken into custody. She is awaiting extradition to Georgia.
Forest Park officers responded Thursday to a home on North Avenue and Puckett Street, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The shooting was believed to be a domestic-related incident, police said.
Claudette Noremia Duclos, 30, died after being shot at least once in the chest. The injured man, who was shot in the arm, has not been identified.
