Dalton police are offering a reward of $3,000 for information leading to an arrest in the 2018 robbery of a family who was held up in their driveway after being followed from Buckhead.

Dalton police are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two men who robbed a family in their North Georgia driveway last spring after following them from Phipps Plaza.

The May 30 robbery took place along Chatham Drive in the Windemere subdivision of Dalton, roughly 80 miles from the Buckhead shops where authorities believe the robbers targeted the family as they shopped.

Brittany McEntire said she arrived home with her mother, husband and three children about 8 p.m. when the two men, who were passengers in two separate cars, got out and pointed guns at them.

They made off with several pieces of jewelry, including a Cartier nail bracelet, a gold Rolex, a David Yurman gold ring, a white gold diamond tennis bracelet, two Louis Vuitton bags and pairs of RayBan and Prada sunglasses, police said.

The suspects arrived in a newer-model white Chevrolet Impala and silver Nissan Maxima that may have been rentals, police said. Investigators believe the two men may have ties to Atlanta.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Edwards at 706-278-9085, ext. 152.
