A man who was shot shortly after 7 p.m. Friday has died, police said.
The shooting happened at Campbellton and Butner roads in southwest Atlanta, police spokesman Lukasz Sajdak said.
The critically injured man was taken to Grady Hospital, where he died.
The victim was identified Saturday as Leonard Colbert, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office.
No motive was immediately known and a homicide investigation is ongoing.
