A man was allegedly involved in two high-speed chases in Gwinnett County recently, including one with police.

And Michael Binette said he was the one being pursued, Channel 2 Action News reported.

He thought he saw a car of teens casing his neighborhood, so he took after them, ramming their car, Lawrenceville police said.

The car with the teens rolled into the police department, and the officer stopped Binette, who allegedly said he was the one chased. Then he drove off.

Police video shows Binette going over 70 mph, running red lights, and going the wrong way down one-way street, Channel 2 reported.

“Seventy miles an hour-plus on one way streets, into the dark,” police Lt. Jake Parker said. “That’s very dangerous.”

He stopped on Scenic Highway and is charged with several felonies, according to police.

“Those folks were trying to ... catch me dude,” the body cam video caught Binette saying.
