Conyers man faces murder charge in shooting

A Conyers man was arrested last month in a deadly shooting.

Sheriff’s investigators have accused Ashton Denny Jr., 25, of malice murder in the May 28 shooting death of Kevin Rowe, according to an arrest warrant obtained Wednesday by AJC.com.

Rowe was shot in the chest at Denny’s home in the 3700 block of Windy Hill Drive, the warrant states.

Denny was arrested the day after the shooting on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
