Katt Williams’ continuing run-ins with the law are threatening his bond situation in Hall County.
The district attorney for Hall County this week filed a motion to bring Williams back into custody, based on two of the comedian’s recent arrests.
After making bond March 9 from an arrest in Hall County, Williams was arrested later in March and again in April. Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh said in court papers that those arrests violated conditions of the March 9 bond. The prosecutor wants the court to revoke bond and keep Williams in custody pending a trial.
Williams' latest legal flap was when he was arrested in East Point in late April, allegedly for throwing a salt shaker at the manager of Spondivits restaurant.
In late March, Williams was arrested in Gainesville after he allegedly had an public altercation with a teen that was caught on video.
The March 9 bond of $60,000 was for charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple battery, and drugs, according to court papers. This was after he allegedly threatened to kill his bodyguard.
