Police are seeking a man who severely beat another driver and then drove away after a collision in Kennesaw, Cobb County police said.

About 11:30 p.m. on April 28, two cars collided on George Busbee Parkway near Frey Road, police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton said. Both drivers pulled into the Green House Patio Apartments, but one driver did not allow the other to call 911.

That driver then attacked the victim, causing serious injury, and then drove away, police said.

Police described the man as about 6 feet to 6-foot-2, and in his early 20s. He is stocky, with a pale skin tone, and shoulder-length dirty blond hair, Chilton said.

The man sought was driving an older-model dark Jeep Cherokee with peeling window tint, Chilton said. The vehicle would have damage to the front.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 770-499-3945. Also, tipsters can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477, or at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.
