A Georgia Department of Revenue agent spotted marijuana and a digital scale in Lief Ervin’s truck Thursday outside a strip mall on Cobb Parkway, according to the news station. Ervin was allegedly reaching into the scale at the time.

The agent also saw the marijuana-laced snacks. Marietta police believe Ervin may have been trying to sell the treats to children, Channel 2 reported.

“We’re not talking about someone with a sandwich baggie with marijuana stuffed in the bottom of their pocket,” Marietta police Officer Chuck McPhilamy told Channel 2.

Ervin faces a dozen drug charges and two weapons charges, according to Cobb County jail records. He has since been released from jail on a $70,000 bond. According to Channel 2, Ervin is a felon.
