A Cobb County man says he heard people fighting about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, when a woman was shot at outside a bar next door.
Chris Bohus told Channel 2 Action News he was working on his laptop when he overheard shouting and then realized someone was shooting in the B3 Bar and Grill parking lot.
“It sounded like firecrackers at first,” Bohus told the television station.
The bar is located next door to the home where Bohus lives on Veterans Memorial Highway in Austell.
Bohus was shocked to realize two rounds hit his house.
“It’s a scary thought,” Bohus said, “thinking those are gunshots going through there.”
A 31-year-old woman was shot while walking back to her car after leaving the bar, Channel 2 reported.
Her name has not yet been released, but police told Channel 2 she was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
