Homicide detectives Tuesday were investigating the death of a man found shot along a southwest Atlanta street.

The victim was found about 4:30 a.m. in bushes in the 100 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard near Parsons Street, according to Atlanta police dispatchers. He had been shot multiple times.

Police have not released the 20-year-old man’s name.

“There appears to be a white Lincoln Town Car involved in the shooting,” Atlanta police Major Adam Lee III told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “There may be five suspects that were in the area when the shooting occurred. Right now, we don’t know exactly what the motive is, but we are looking for these individuals and this white Town Car at this time.”

Lee asked that anyone with information on the incident call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS.
