A man killed in a fight reportedly over loud music Monday has been identified as police continued to seek a suspect.

Blake Womack, 25, of Atlanta died from a stab wound in the torso, the Fulton County Medical Examiner said Tuesday.

The stabbing happened just after midnight at a home in the 1800 block of Oakmont Drive in northwest Atlanta.

Channel 2 Action News reported that the man later identified as Womack got into a fistfight with another man over loud music. It was not clear who was playing the music. Police have not identified the suspect, who remained at large.

The suspect’s brother, who was also in the house, initially broke up the fight, but the victim and suspect began fighting again moments later, according to Channel 2. That’s when the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim, who later died at a local hospital.
