Police have identified three more individuals arrested in connection with the recent rash of car break-ins in Buckhead and northwest Atlanta. Six people have been arrested so far, and police indicated the frequency of the break-ins has slowed since those arrests were made.

On Friday, police said Summers McCurdy, 53, was charged with criminal attempt to commit entering auto, and Ladarius Stone, 17, and Jeremy Prozzo, 38, both were charged with entering automobile.

Each of the three was arrested on a different day at a different location.

McCurdy was arrested Sept. 1 at 2025 Peachtree Road while trying to get into a Hyundai Accent in a parking lot, according to the Atlanta police incident report.

Stone was arrested Monday next to Houston’s restaurant on Lenox Road NE where, according to the report, a car had been broken into and some valuables removed.

Prozzo was arrested Thursday on Northrope Drive when he was found sitting in a Chevy truck after police received a call about a stolen vehicle in progress, the incident report said.

Three other people who were previously identified were arrested Thursday morning in a Northside Drive parking deck that was hit by multiple break-ins a day earlier, police said.

In addition, warrants have been obtained for a seventh person, Atlanta police Sgt. Greg Lyon told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Late Friday morning, Lyon said he was unaware of any instances of multiple vehicles being broken into in a single location since Thursday morning’s arrests.

At least 69 vehicles were broken into at seven different locations across the north side of the city in a two-night period earlier this week, including 30 early Tuesday at the The Terraces at Peachtree condominiums on Biscayne Drive and 14 that were hit early Wednesday in the parking deck of the Berkeley Heights apartment complex on Northside Drive.

Police patrolling that same deck early Thursday arrested Jordan Watkins, 18, Jarquez Scott, 23, and a juvenile whose name was not released because of his age after the three got out of a car that was later determined to be stolen. Items believed to have been taken from other vehicles were found inside the stolen car.
