Two suspects were arrested Wednesday for a shooting last month near the Georgia Dome, Atlanta police said.

A man and a woman were shot Sept. 15 on Northside Drive just south of the Dome before an Atlanta Falcons game.

The incident occurred after an argument inside a store, according to the police report. As the couple left, they were followed and both were shot in the leg. They were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Crime Stoppers tips helped investigators identify the suspects, who were arrested Wednesday in the 400 block of Beckwith Court in southwest Atlanta.

Aldemtrius Brown, 22, and Quincy Pope, 30, were charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault. Additional charges against Brown include possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of marijuana.

Brown had a handgun and 68.8 grams of marijuana when he was arrested, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.

Both suspects were denied bond Thursday, Channel 2 Action News reported.
