Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to identify a duo accused of robbing more than $1,300 from a CVS.

The duo entered the store in the 800 block of Ralph David Abernathy around 6:20 Friday morning and headed to candy aisle, according to the incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

An employee of the store asked the two if they needed any help and the two said “yes,” the report states. The two then approached the front counter, where one tried to distract another shopper and the other placed his backpack on the counter, according to police.

“You know what I want,” the suspect allegedly told the store employee.

The store employee told police he gave the suspect the money from the top drawer of the register, but the suspect demanded more.

“Don’t (expletive) with me,” the suspect allegedly said.

The employee told police he then emptied the remainder of the register, totaling about $1,368.

Surveillance cameras at the store captured the two, and police hope those images help identify the two suspects. Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.
