City launches permit update site

Sandy Springs has launched an online tool that allows individuals to check the status of a building permit. Permit Go! allows users to access a spreadsheet that provides updates on a project’s status through the permitting process, including information on deadlines and a list of departments involved.

The link can be found at www.sandyspringsga.gov, in the Community Development department area.

The city also has announced quicker turnaround times for permit reviews for minor residential additions and remodeling, major renovations and commercial construction.
