The members of the Cherokee County state legislative delegation have set their annual meeting with local elected officials and the general public for Dec. 10.

The event is a “catchup” and listening session and a chance for Cherokee officials to present priorities they’d like to see tackled in the 2015 legislative session, said State Rep. Mandi Ballinger, R-Canton.

Cherokee officials and delegation members will meet at 10 a.m. at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, terrace level, 3605 Marietta Highway, Canton. A town hall meeting is set for 6 p.m. also at the chamber.

Each representative and senator will take a few minutes to talk about the 2015 session before opening up the floor.

The 2015 session begins Jan 12.
