A Buford man was in jail Thursday with no bond after being arrested in a child molestation sting involving an 11-year-old girl.

Hall County sheriff’s deputies arrested Laulue Her, 28, Wednesday on child enticement charges. Investigators targeted him after learning he had been making contact with the girl since she was 9 years old and communicating through social media, Deputy Nicole Bailes said.

Investigators set up a sting in which they pretended to be the girl and lured the man to a location for the purposes of a sexual act and arrested him, Bailes said.

He is charged with criminal attempt at aggravated child molestation, electronic enticement of a minor and enticing a child for indecent purposes, Bailes said.

The case remains under investigation and further charges are pending, she said.
