Deadly RV fire caused by engine repairs, sheriff says

A 57-year-old woman was killed Sunday in an RV fire in Bartow County.

July 30, 2018A 57-year-old Ball Ground woman was killed in a weekend RV fire, officials in Bartow County said.
According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, someone called 911 just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday to report the blaze on Bailey Hill Road.
Deputies and county firefighters found the woman dead. Her name is being withheld until relatives can be notified about her death.
“Early investigation revealed that the RV was undergoing some engine repairs which led to the fire,” Bartow County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Rogers said in a statement. “At this time, no foul play is suspected. The investigation will remain open until an autopsy is performed.”
