Atlanta police released surveillance footage Tuesday in the hope it will lead to an arrest in the murder of a 23-year-old man.

Security video shows a man in a green hat, white and yellow jacket and white pants approach the victim at a convenience store on the 40 block of Broad Street in downtown Atlanta on Saturday.

The suspect then follows the victim outside and the two begin to argue, police said. Soon after, the alleged gunman opened fire. The incident occurred near the Five Points MARTA station.

The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

“Even if you know him by a nickname, we’re asking for any help to further our investigation,” Atlanta police homicide commander Charles Hampton said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Atlanta police. Tipsters can also remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org.
