Downtown homicide: Man found dead on Broad Street

Jan 2, 2017A man was found shot dead in downtown Atlanta Monday.
The victim, who had not been publicly identified as of Monday afternoon, was found about 6:30 a.m. on a sidewalk on Broad Street, the Atlanta Police Department said. They said the victim had a “possible gunshot wound to the head.”
No witnesses were present. The case is under investigation by the department’s homicide team.
