A person who works in the snack shop in the lobby of Atlanta City Hall has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a text message from a spokesman for Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

The store has been closed since March 12 “for unrelated reasons,” according to the text message.

But the virus can present symptoms as late as 14 days from exposure. Since it has been 11 days since the shop closed, the city urges anyone who visited the store and is experiencing symptoms of the virus to contact their medical professional immediately.
