Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead in a North Georgia neighborhood Wednesday morning.

Homicide detectives were sent to an area off Candler Road in Hall County after the man’s body was discovered.

Investigators received a call about a “deceased man” at a home in the 4000 block of Talmo Road about 10 a.m., the sheriff’s office said. The victim showed signs of blunt force trauma, according to the agency.

Authorities believe a struggle happened at the property prior to the man’s death. No other details were released.

“Further details will be provided as they’re available,” the sheriff’s office said.
