Body found inside home after Cobb fire

One person died in a house fire on Heritage Green Drive in Marietta Tuesday, the Cobb County Department of Public Safety said.
Firefighters saw heavy smoke coming from the house when they arrived. After the fire was under control they discovered a victim in one of the bedrooms.
The victim has not been identified publicly pending notification of family.
Authorities are investigating the fire.
