Second grade students at a Johns Creek elementary school will temporarily move to remote learning because of COVID-19 cases.

Fulton County Schools announced Friday that second graders at Medlock Bridge Elementary will switch to remote learning starting Monday. They are scheduled to return to in-person learning Oct. 4.

The school reported six cases of COVID-19 among students and staff for the week ending Sept. 16, the most recently available data.

Across the district, there were 334 positive cases reported last week.
