The city of Milton offices will close for the day at 1 p.m. Friday.

The closure is for “a special team event for City employees that’s focused on Milton’s Strategic Plan,” according to a 3:10 p.m. Thursday post from the city.

Those with issues dealing with police, the courts or fire would try to handle their business from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If no, they’ll open back up Monday at 8:30 a.m.

And in case anyone was wondering: The parade for the world champion Braves arrives at Truist Park about 2 p.m., which is roughly a 25-minute drive from Milton City Hall.
