  • Funeral arrangements were announced early Friday for the two Georgia Southern University nursing students from metro Atlanta killed in Wednesday's pile-up on I-16 that also killed three of their classmates.   • Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar used a YouTube video to fire back at critics who lampooned his request for donations for a $65 million jet. "If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me," Dollar told his followers. "You cannot stop me from dreaming. I'm gonna dream until Jesus comes."
  • A motorcycle driver died after colliding with a car on Windy Hill Road in Cobb County, police said. The victim's name has not been released.
  • Another DeKalb official is under investigation. The FBI is looking into repairs made to the home of interim CEO Lee May after a sewer line backup in late 2010 spilled raw sewage into his living room.

  • A former top finance official with the Georgia Lottery has filed a whistleblower lawsuit claiming that he was fired after refusing to present inflated sales projections.
