Two northbound lanes of Roswell Road at I-285 in Sandy Springs will be closed at night this week for utility work connected to the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange reconstruction, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.

The lane closures are scheduled for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, through Friday, Jan. 8, on Roswell Road between Lake Placid and Carpenter drives. Two southbound lanes will be cut back to one, and northbound traffic will shift left to a single lane over the I-285 overpass.

“Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors,” GDOT said. “Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention, and watch for workers.”
