The Roswell City Council recently approved a donation of lumber and supplies from the Lummus Supply Company for the Fire Station 5 deck remodel project at 1200 Hembree Rd.

The lumber on the deck at Fire Station 5 is scheduled to be replaced this year as part of a larger remodeling project already underway.

The proposed labor cost is $2,500 and Lummus Supply Company at 11700 Alpharetta Highway has offered to donate approximately $1,800 worth of lumber and supplies toward the project.

In a letter from Lummus Supply Company to the Roswell Fire Department, Richard Ayers noted, “Thanks to you and everyone at Roswell Fire Department for all you do for our community every day… we are interested in donating materials for the project as part of our annual community donation allowance.”
