The McDonough City Council convened Sept. 2 for a virtual meeting with only a short list of consent agenda items and no public comments. The council approved a rental agreement/contract for a 60-month lease of a postage machine in City Hall at $247.59 per month, a $37,710 purchase of a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe from the police department from the Bellamy Strickland dealership in McDonough, and a $12,921 change order regarding work on a booster pump at Richard Craig Park.
