This Sunday, the AJC will feature a special print section dedicated to the artwork that was submitted. From health care to transportation and delivery workers and even journalists, we wanted to give kids the opportunity to express their creativity and gratitude to those who are serving our community and keeping us safe.

“As the coronavirus pandemic continues to keep us in our homes, we know that many of you are occupied with juggling home schooling, work and all the normal demands of life,” AJC editor Kevin Riley said in a previous statement. “We know that keeping kids occupied remains a challenge, so The Atlanta Journal-Constitution wants to give youngsters the opportunity to express their creativity and gratitude to those who are serving our community and keeping us safe through ‘Art from the Heart.’”
You can view the full collection of artwork here, but be sure to check out the special section in the AJC's Sunday paper.
