The classic mid-century modern chairs were a gift from Karen Hudson-Simard to her husband. “My husband and I love the Eames chairs,” she said. “When he comes home from work, that’s where we sit, have our glass of wine and talk about the day.” (Contributed by Christopher Oquendo/www.ophotography.com)

When Shell and Rand Royster purchased their home in 2018, the kitchen was dark and had very little surface space to prep food on. The couple worked with Nathan Boston of Drum Homes to completely gut and renovate the space, putting in an island, fresh quartz countertops and new cabinets from J&K Cabinetry.
