History: Founded in 1891 to help immigrants settle into their new lives, the organization’s mission has evolved to meet the changing needs. JF&CS is a social service agency and mental health practice that serves all Atlanta residents.

Did you know: Caring mental health professionals provide therapy for adults and children. Senior care specialists help older adults and families navigate aging. Adults with developmental disabilities are cared for through group homes and the day program. Dentists volunteer their services at a charity dental clinic. Emergency assistance and a food pantry help thousands of families get through the pandemic.

Motto: The mission of Jewish Family & Career Services is to transform lives.

How you can help: Build relationships and brighten someone’s day by donating time to an older adult as a One Good Deed visitor, or assisting at the food pantry. Dentists and hygienists are needed at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic.
