Singer Nick Jonas performed twice in Florida on Saturday. He appeared as scheduled at Tampa’s Amalie Arena to sing at the annual Jingle Ball, and also made an impromptu stop several hours earlier at a Starbucks to sing and buy coffee for fans.
Jonas tweeted about the appearance around 3 p.m., The Tampa Bay Times reported. The singer said he was heading to a Starbucks in the Westshore area of Tampa "for a little holiday surprise around 3:30 p.m. See you there?"
Fans greeted him at the coffee shop, and Jonas told them he was buying them all coffee. “How’s that?” he posted to his Instagram Stories account.
The appearance was a joint promotion for Starbucks' #GiveGood campaign and drinkware company Ember Technologies, the Times reported.
While at the Starbucks, Jonas picked up an acoustic guitar to play a couple of songs, including “Home,” and handed out some gift cards, the Times reported.
