Gwinnett County Public Schools is asking employees, families of students and community members to take a survey about communication through Monday.

Called the School Communication Performance Evaluation, or SCoPE, the survey asks for feedback on communication at the class, school and district levels. Participants will be asked how they prefer to receive information, how effective communication is in the school district and what their perceptions of the school district are.

Families and employees were invited to the survey via the SchoolMessenger app. Community members can also participate.

The survey is part of the National School Public Relations Association’s review of communications districtwide, according to a news release.

“The communications audit is just one more example of how we are listening to our community and learning more about their needs,” said Sloan Roach, executive director of communication and media relations, in the release.

The audit includes a review of communication materials and techniques at the district and school levels, according to the release. It will take into account feedback from 40 virtual focus groups and interviews.
