The Georgia Association for Healthcare Quality (GAHQ) is proud to host a day-and-a-half workshop on LEAN, From Theory to Action: Putting LEAN into practice in a Healthcare Setting, on January 26 - 27 at the JW Marriott, Atlanta Buckhead, 3300 Lenox Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30326.
Healthcare leaders, managers, nurses, physicians, performance improvement coordinators, quality coordinators, patient safety officers, risk managers and any Healthcare personnel should attend. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Review the fundamentals of LEAN and its application in the Healthcare setting
Assess your organization’s readiness for LEAN
Build the essential elements of a LEAN foundation in your organization
Understand how to apply LEAN tools and steps
Calculate the return on investment for quality improvement activities.
Continuing education credits of 10.5 hours have been applied for CPHQ and Nursing education. Space is very limited and early registration is strongly encouraged. The regular price for GAHQ members is $349 and for non-members is $399. The price includes continuing education credit, breakfasts, snacks, and lunch. There is a Hotel Room Block rate of $189 at the JW Marriott for those who are traveling from out of town.
