The shopper posted the image on Instagram, with the caption: “Somewhere in L.A., Whole Foods executives are laughing at all of us.”

Eater contacted Whole Foods for comment, and a company representative said the offering was a mistake. The product was meant to be a vegetable version of the trendy bone broth offerings but was “made incorrectly.”  The representative said the asparagus water was available only at the Brentwood location and has since been removed from the store.
