The National Urban League and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta will hold the Urban League Empowerment Summit Saturday and Sunday at the Georgia World Congress Center.

The free summit is a one-stop housing and employment event to provide troubled homeowners interview sessions with housing counselors and with lending institutions to negotiate resolutions. Free legal advice and workshops on maintaining home ownership will be offered.

There also will be a career fair where job seekers can assess employment opportunities and receive career coaching and resume critiques from human resource experts.

The event runs Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 404-659-1150 for more information.
