Grocery delivery service Instacart has added Atlanta to its growing list of cities where workers can now apply for part-time positions.

The San Francisco-based company initially hired workers, who pick up groceries for thousands through Internet orders, as contractors. Instacart changed that in June when it opened up the part-time option to workers to Boston and Chicago.

“The reception to this program in Boston and Chicago has been great, with most of our in-store shoppers electing to apply for this new position as a part-time employee,” Apoorva Mehta, Instacart founder and CEO said in a press release. “This model enables us to train our shoppers to improve the efficiency and quality of order picking, which makes for a better customer experience.”

Along with Atlanta, Instacart added Miami and Washington, D.C. to its list of cities offering workers part-time employment.
