Hotel Midtown, an unbranded lodger at Peachtree and 10th streets, is becoming a Hyatt.

Noble Investment Group, which owns several properties in metro Atlanta, including the W Midtown, plans to spend $21 million redeveloping Hotel Midtown. The company said the 191-room hotel will open as a Hyatt early next year.

The Hotel Midtown acquisition is part of the more than $350 million Noble spent over the last year on lodging, the Atlanta-based company said. The move added 14 properties to Noble's portfolio.

“These acquisitions represent Noble’s ability to source opportunistic investments that best utilize our value-adding core competencies,” said Mit Shah, Noble’s chief executive officer.
