If you're looking for job this February, the following metro Atlanta companies are among those that are making big hires this month:

Delaware North Sportservice
When the Braves open the next season at SunTrust Park in Cobb County, they'll welcome plenty of new hires to handle all the hot dogs, beer and other food and drink fans will consume as they root for the home team. Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for lots of positions, including bartenders, dishwashers and guest relations attendants. The jobs are part-time and will require evening and weekend shifts since that's when the majority of games are played.
Kroger
Kroger, which is headquartered in Atlanta, is planning to hire 10,000 people for permanent positions in its grocery stores. Hundreds of jobs are currently open in the metro Atlanta area, including positions for pharmacy associates, cashiers, managers, cake decorators and even a "cheese master."
WellStar
WellStar has many medical facilities in metro Atlanta, including hospitals, medical practices, urgent care practices and imaging centers, and between that, it employs more than 20,000 people. There are hundreds of jobs open in February in Atlanta, Marietta, Austell, LaGrange, Roswell and other metro Atlanta areas. Many jobs are in the medical field, but the company is also hiring for positions ranging from cooks to interpreters to police officers.

Newell Brands
You may not recognize the company name, but you're definitely familiar with some of its brands, including Sharpie, Rubbermaid, Calphalon, Graco, Coleman, Sunbeam and Yankee Candle. The company used to be known as Newell Rubbermaid and was headquartered in Atlanta before moving to New Jersey, but there are still plenty of jobs with Newell to be had in the metro Atlanta this February. Eighty-six job openings in the area were recently posted, including a sourcing leader with Calphalon and a senior financial analyst.
School districts
School districts are major employers that often offer good benefits. DeKalb County School District, for example, has over 15,000 employees. Hiring for the new school year starts in earnest in February, with many job fairs being held throughout metro Atlanta and the rest of the state in the next few months. DeKalb County schools will hold a job fair on Feb. 4 at Miller Grove High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you're interested in teaching in the district for the 2017-18 school year.
